We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a RN Burn, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and notify providers of any unintended reactions.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations before procedures, including review of medical history, diagnostic tests, and physical assessments.
- Engage in evidence-based best practices to enhance the patient experience, including SAFETY rounding, communication fundamentals, and teach-back.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, ensuring clear understanding among patients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
