Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of experience in the automotive industry, with excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles. A working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods is also required. The ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment, such as lifts, is necessary for this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $90,000+ annually, depending on experience. Additionally, benefits include paid holidays, paid vacation, employee discount, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles as outlined on repair orders
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform/document repair
  • Work closely with the shop foreman, managers, and other service employees
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional service is needed
  • Road-test vehicles
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace

Qualifications:

  • Three to Five years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
  • Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment (e.g., lift)
  • Valid CA driver's license and good driving record
