This role is designed to assist the Finance Director in implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organizational goals and objectives set forth by the boards and executive management.
To excel in this position, a Lead Financial Strategist must possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

The position entails managing and executing critical deadlines while ensuring the utmost accuracy and quality control in reporting related to the following:

  • Deliver analytical support, dashboard reports, business solutions, special program development, and ad hoc project assignments as required.
  • Evaluate distributor reports for data accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct periodic audits of data and present findings to the Finance Director.
  • Oversee and maintain timely updates of period activities.
  • Prepare check requests for distributor payments.
  • Provide insightful and timely financial forecasts and analytics.
  • Create reports and presentations as necessary.

  • Meet deadlines consistently.
  • Foster relationships and collaborate closely with Procurement, Accounting, and other functional teams to ensure top-tier support for assigned deliverables.

  • Serve as the primary contact and manage all communications with distributors regarding data requests and discrepancies identified during audits.

  • Offer comprehensive and thoughtful analyses to the RSCS Finance team, RSCS leadership, and other functional areas as needed.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications, Skills, and Core Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in the Finance/Accounting sector.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Results-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Capability to analyze business information and identify trends.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to change, and proficient in collaboration, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in managing and executing multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, able to interact professionally and helpfully with others.
  • Advanced skills in Excel; knowledge of Access and PowerPoint is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
Including Word, Teams, and Outlook.

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP system is highly preferred.
