Diagnostic Radiographer Opportunity at UPMC St. Margaret

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiographer to join our team at UPMC St. Margaret. As a Diagnostic Radiographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing established protocols and procedures without requiring constant supervision.
  • Utilize complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and documentation of image data and complete procedures according to protocol.
  • Identify all patients properly by using two patient identifiers and utilize universal protocol when performing procedures.
  • Review patient history and assess physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols for optimal results in the acquisition of data.
  • Document patient history in electronic record as required.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of the program and scheduled graduation date.
  • ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain radiography registry within 12 months of hire date.
  • CPR or BLS Required.
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting.
  • Act 33 with renewal.
  • Act 34 with renewal.
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance.
