Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services to adults in our outpatient department.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatments and interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions with clients and their families.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- A competitive annual base salary range of $65,000 - $77,175, depending on licensure status and experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, and a retirement savings plan.
- Ample time off, including 11 paid holidays, 15 days of vacation, and 15 days of sick leave in the first year.
- Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and certification programs.
- A commitment to providing a safe and inclusive work environment.
- A Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field.
- A license to practice in the state, issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
- Active and regular receipt of board-approved supervision, if under supervision.
The Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center is a community-based center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment.
