Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at IDR, Inc. as a Radiologic Imaging Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting various mammography procedures, including needle localization and ductograms, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.
  • Conduct stereotactic biopsy procedures and quality control specific to mammography.
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment with a focus on high-quality imaging.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)).
  • Competency in performing stereotactic procedures and/or quality control related to mammography.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association (CPR and AED).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in mammography.
  • 1 year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control specific to mammography.
  • Experience in a clinical research setting.
