Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, obtain complete clinical history, and assess patients for contraindications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to function independently and under pressure, and possess a strong commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and set up equipment
  • Obtain complete clinical history and assess patients for contraindications
  • Ensure quality patient care by verifying unique patient identifiers and clinician orders
  • Practice infection control and maintain equipment according to department cleaning schedules
  • Explain procedures thoroughly to patients using the AIDET framework
  • Produce high-quality images, maintaining a first-time acceptance rate of 95%
  • Participate in the orientation and training of departmental employees
  • Maintain accreditation standards and complete documentation for quality control tests
  • Transport and position patients safely and efficiently
  • Keep the department organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and department staff
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, standards, and codes of conduct
Requirements:
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist and preferred minimum 1 year experience in Mammography
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor certification
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to function independently and under pressure, and excellent customer service skills
