Position Summary

The role of a CBW Merchandiser involves visiting client locations to recommend products and ensure that manufacturers' items are displayed optimally to enhance visibility and boost sales. Successful Merchandisers will excel in fostering beneficial relationships with store and field management while maintaining effective communication built on respect and trust.

Geographical Coverage

This position primarily serves customer locations in the northeast Maryland/New Jersey and DC area, with potential travel extending up to 2-3 hours.

Work Schedule

Four 10-hour days, from Monday to Thursday.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $19.00, along with monthly reimbursements for mileage, car insurance, cell phone usage, and depreciation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance required
  • Proven safe driving record
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication abilities with customers and internal teams
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing software

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement store layouts as directed by supervisors for product resets
  • Adhere to planograms provided by management
  • Represent the Cooper-Booth brand positively while building customer relationships
  • Document store conditions with before and after photographs
  • Complete merchandising checklists as required
