Job Description

We are seeking a part-time overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to join our team. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, implementing individual behavioral plans, and encouraging clients to participate in community outings and recreational activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including medication administration, cooking meals, and personal hygiene
  • Implement individual behavioral plans, using effective teaching and mentoring techniques to help clients achieve their goals
  • Encourage clients to participate in community outings and recreational activities, based on their preferences and behavioral plans
  • Report any concerns about client health and safety, and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen
  • Clear tuberculosis (TB) screening
  • Ability to pass and maintain required trainings, such as CPR/first aid, medication administration, and positive behavioral support training
  • Basic computer skills
What We Offer

Work Schedule

We operate 24-hour residential group homes, which means our DSPs / Caregivers have many shift options, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Day shifts are available from 7 am - 3 pm and 3 pm - 11 pm, while overnight shifts are available from 11 pm - 9 am.
