Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to join our team. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, implementing individual behavioral plans, and promoting community integration.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including medication administration, cooking meals, and personal hygiene
  • Implement individual behavioral plans, using effective teaching and mentoring techniques to promote skill development and goal achievement
  • Encourage clients to participate in community outings and recreational activities, promoting socialization and community integration
  • Document client progress and report any concerns about their health and safety
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen
  • Clear tuberculosis (TB) screening
  • Ability to pass and maintain required trainings, including CPR/first aid, medication administration, and positive behavioral support training
  • Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Work Schedule

We operate 24-hour residential group homes, offering a range of shift options, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Day shifts are available from 7 am to 3 pm and 3 pm to 11 pm, while overnight shifts are available from 11 pm to 9 am.
