Position Summary:


The Wichita branch of Lewis Brisbois, a prominent AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a skilled attorney to enhance its Labor & Employment Practice.


The preferred candidate will hold a valid license to practice in Kansas and possess a minimum of two (2) to seven (7) years of expertise in employment law issues.

Experience in employment litigation is essential (ideally representing management), while experience in employment advisory roles or corporate legal departments is advantageous.

This position presents a remarkable opportunity for attorneys who are enthusiastic and dedicated to taking on a pivotal role in delivering legal services within a sophisticated practice, and who aspire to engage significantly in all facets of labor and employment law.

This role necessitates substantial interaction with clients, regulatory bodies, and opposing legal representatives.


Lewis Brisbois' Labor & Employment Practice serves clients nationwide across all stages and varieties of employment litigation, advisory services, and training.

Our team of employment law experts is distributed across various locations in the United States, providing clients with reliable counsel in numerous jurisdictions.

Our extensive reach and size enable us to offer our clients consistent representation across the country.


Qualified applicants will be adept at drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial legal documents, preparing and presenting motions, as well as conducting and defending depositions.

Candidates should possess strong writing and analytical capabilities, along with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.


While we prefer candidates with some background in employment law, we are also open to considering talented attorneys who bring exceptional skills from any litigation background.
