Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Career Opportunity
Description: Soliant is currently seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district for the upcoming academic year. This is a full-time position that requires on-site presence throughout the school day. The SLP will be responsible for working with students ranging from 4th to 12th grade and must have CCC's (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language abilities.
- Create and execute personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and IEP objectives.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to aid student progress and incorporate therapy goals into the classroom.
- Maintain precise and updated records of student advancements, session notes, and IEP modifications.
- Participate in IEP meetings to assess student advancement and contribute to goal establishment.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) mandatory.
- Possession of or eligibility for state licensure.
- Prior experience working with students in a school-based environment is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to offering top-notch speech-language services to students.
