About the Role

Amergis is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language therapy to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, and identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to minimize the adverse impact of communication disorders on student success.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students, including instruction in the use of communication technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including progress reports, activity logs, and billing information.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate records.
