We're seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Systems Engineer 2 (SIGINT SME) to join our team in the Columbia and Hanover, MD area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and deploy GOTS SIGINT systems and application tool sets
  • Integrate COTS solutions into end-to-end systems of systems derived from defined requirements documentation
  • Author statement of work (SOW) documents, Independent Cost Estimates (ICE), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Development, Test and Evaluation Plans, architecture diagrams, network diagrams, rack elevation diagrams, dataflow diagrams, wiring diagrams, as-built diagrams, and other pre- and post-acquisition support documents
  • Provide Life Cycle Support (LCS) services for operational capabilities, deployment of technical capabilities as part of small teams, and remote tiered technical support to mission operators, analysts, and technical liaisons
  • Travel OCONUS for short-term deployments
Requirements:
  • Fourteen (14) years' experience as a System Engineer or in a similar type of capacity
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Systems engineering experience specifically in the areas of GOTS/COTS SIGINT application and/or capabilities, development, integration, testing, certification, deployment, and training
  • Experience authoring system engineering artifacts
  • Ability to work as a forward-leaning self-starter requiring little daily oversight
Security Clearance Requirements:

TS/SCI with Polygraph is required; however, we are able to start with Conditional Certification of Access (CCA), with the understanding that the polygraph process will begin shortly after start date.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

Ability for clear communication with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
