Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team at Midwest Express Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Front Desk Duties:
    • Answer telephones and greet patients
    • Register patients and handle correspondence
    • Schedule appointments and prior authorizations
    • Process payments and prepare charts
  • Back Office Duties:
    • Draw blood and perform EKGs
    • Prepare the exam room for patients and administer medications
    • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and triage patients
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of experience in a medical setting
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
