Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Security Officer to join our team at Job Corps. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Makes regular inspections of the grounds and facility to ensure safety and security.
  • Reports fires and assists in suppressing them.
  • Investigates incidents on center and provides clear and accurate reports.
  • Provides first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Assists staff in de-escalating volatile situations.
  • Conducts routine vehicle inspections on GSA fleet.
  • Accurately logs and searches employees, visitors, vendors, and students as they enter and exit the center.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • One year of experience in security or law enforcement, or successful military experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Commercial driver's license with air brake and passenger endorsements is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
