Automotive Logistics Specialist

Fremont Transportation is seeking an experienced Automotive Logistics Specialist to safely transport new and used vehicles to designated locations.

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $73,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and location. This includes a base pay of $40 per mile plus bonuses, with opportunities for overtime and incentive pay.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading
  • Safely load new and used vehicles onto a trailer using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Ensure that vehicles are securely fastened and positioned for safe transport.
• Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the trailer and vehicle to ensure road worthiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, and deliveries.
• Operational Safety and Efficiency
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the transport vehicle.
  • Safely and efficiently unload vehicles upon arrival at designated locations.

Qualifications:

• A Class A commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least two years of experience as a transportation driver, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle loading and transportation techniques.
• Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
