Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will coordinate services and activities specific to the Imaging area (CT and Radiology). This role is responsible for monitoring all technical clerical functions, including efficient patient throughput and effective utilization of equipment and human resources, based upon patient load.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans and take radiographs according to the standards and practices set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American College of Radiology, and the Texas Medical Board.
  • Coordinate services and activities specific to the Imaging area (CT and Radiology).
  • Monitor all technical clerical functions, including efficient patient throughput and effective utilization of equipment and human resources, based upon patient load.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Radiology or equivalent.
  • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and post-primary certification in Computed Tomography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
