Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist PRN to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to physician orders and hospital protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Evaluate patient conditions to determine the best course of action for CT exams.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with the Texas Medical Board.
  • Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Registered Radiologic Technologist RT (R) license.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
