Job Summary

Clinical Leads play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical units. As a Clinical Lead RN, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, and leadership to our nursing staff. You will be accountable for the overall functioning of an assigned shift, adhering to State Board of Nursing guidelines and established AM A Code of Ethics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care (direct and indirect) on assigned units, collaborating with other healthcare disciplines and departments to provide a continuum of care to patients.
  • Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds to assist with planning for the next level of care.
  • Provide guidance and direction to subordinate staff, assisting with the organization, direction, coordination, and control of activities for patient care.
  • Assist with financial planning and control, nursing standards, nursing plans for provision of care, nursing performance reviews, and quality assurance for assigned areas.
  • Responsible for human resource management on assigned shifts, assisting with the development of unit goals and ensuring their operationalization.
  • Assist with training activities to meet identified educational needs within designated departments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN license with the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
  • Six (6) months clinical nurse experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think analytically and work independently and as part of a team.
