Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our academic practice at Virginia Commonwealth University. The successful candidate will provide clinical expertise and care to patients, support the training and teaching of Otolaryngology residents, and contribute to research discoveries in their clinical area of focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care and treatment to patients with Otolaryngology anomalies
  • Support the training and teaching of Otolaryngology residents and other students
  • Contribute to research discoveries in their clinical area of focus
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary clinical endeavors
Requirements
  • Board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology
  • Fellowship trained
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Virginia upon hire
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interest in clinical care, teaching, and research

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University is dedicated to providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art clinical care, teaching medical students/observers/residents and engaging in clinical / translational research.

The pediatric specialties service at VCU Health/the Children's Hospital of Richmond (CHoR) at VCU is the region's only full-service children's hospital, offering comprehensive emergency, primary, secondary, advanced, tertiary and long-term care, with more than 40 pediatric medical/surgical services.
