Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team at Lighthouse CH. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and other special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement ABA Therapy Techniques: Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement evidence-based ABA therapy techniques tailored to the individual needs of each client.
  • Provide One-on-One Therapy Sessions: Deliver high-quality, one-on-one therapy sessions to children, following individualized treatment plans that promote skill development, independence, and improved communication.
  • Teach and Reinforce Skills: Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive and structured environment, fostering a positive and engaging therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work collaboratively with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review progress, address concerns, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicate with Parents/Caregivers: Effectively communicate with parents/caregivers, providing updates on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for generalization of skills to the home setting.
  • Document Therapy Sessions: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes and data collection.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Experience in ABA Therapy: Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals with autism is preferred, but not required.
