Job Title: Associate Application Engineer

At Renesas Electronics, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Application Engineer to join our team. As an Associate Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in understanding customer requirements, measuring the performance of our PLL devices, and explaining these measurements to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn about Renesas' flagship timing devices for the wireless and data center markets
  • Understand customer requirements and measure the performance of our PLL devices on the bench
  • Explain measurements to customers and interact with cross-functional teams to learn about new devices and support internal activities
  • Develop a strong understanding of the operation of Renesas timing devices and lab work
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering - recent graduate
  • Knowledge of circuit analysis and filters
  • Good understanding of frequency domain signals analysis, including BODE plots, FFTs, spectrum analysis
  • Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and function generators
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Excellent communications skills to explain technical concepts to internal and external customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
