Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Victorium Legal, Inc. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and be able to provide high-quality legal services to our diverse client base.

The successful applicant will work closely with our senior partners and staff to develop winning strategies that meet the unique needs of our clients. With a heavy caseload and limited supervision, you will need to be comfortable using today's legal software and have outstanding research and writing skills.

Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $125,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
  • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
  • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
  • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
  • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
Requirements
  • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
  • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
  • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required
  • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required
  • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
