The Barista role at Macy's involves selling and creating Starbucks coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong knowledge of our products and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate the espresso bar, pastry station, and cold beverage station with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Health Department standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by following Starbucks Simple Service Steps and Magic Selling skills.
• Educate customers on our products and services, sampling and serving craveable food and beverage options.
• Perform station-specific duties and responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain PAR stock levels and product presentations, adhering to Starbucks merchandising and signing standards.
• Produce and present freshly prepared products, meeting speed of service standards.
• Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code, adhering to company, Starbucks, and Health Department standards.

• No prior experience or education required.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking around the store or department.
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions.
• Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs.
