Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Test Engineer to join our New Product Verification Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our robotic-assisted surgery systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and executing test protocols, identifying and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test protocols for design verification and life/reliability testing of robotic-assisted surgery systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to product design and development
  • Work with test technicians to train and support them in test methods and procedures
  • Ensure successful completion of department projects and communicate constraints to management as needed
  • Comply with company Department and Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum BS in Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or similar degree
  • Minimum 4+ years of work experience in an engineering organization or research team environment
  • Prefer experience within medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Device Verification/Validation experience in a regulated industry is required
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with motors and building motor control circuits
  • Experience with basic circuit design
  • Familiarity with equipment needed to perform typical performance measurements on electro-mechanical systems
  • Experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeter, signal generators, power supplies, and embedded systems
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, and SolidWorks or similar CAD software

Base Salary Range Region 1: $146,900 - $211,500
Base Salary Range Region 2: $124,900 - $179,700
