About the Role:
Inova is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic imaging equipment and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain clinical history and informed consent from patients to assist physicians in optimizing examination performance and interpretation.
- Coordinate new team member and student department orientation and training.
- Assist with patient and team member scheduling to enhance department productivity.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies for procedures.
Requirements:
- Certification in Basic Life Support and relevant imaging modality certification.
- Licensure as required by the state of employment.
- Three years of imaging experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Graduate of an accredited school or program in radiography or nuclear medicine technology.
