Medical Assistant Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to support our clinical team in providing exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff, including preparing patients for exams and procedures.
- Handle administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.
- Supply ordering and inventory management to ensure a smooth operation of the medical facility.
- Obtain and update patient histories and chief complaints to ensure accurate and comprehensive care.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, check for outstanding biopsies and bloodwork, and assist providers with medical and cosmetic procedures.
- Provide patient education and reinforce procedures and office visits.
- Set up for select procedures, including biopsies and surgical procedures.
- Perform dressing changes, suture removal, and take patient measurements.
- Complete pathology requisition forms and maintain accurate records of specimens and lab results.
- Clean and sterilize instruments, clean and organize patient rooms, and dispose of medical waste.
- Review and follow posted OSHA instructions and requirements.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or a related field is required.
- Dermatology experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for medical and surgical procedures.
- Customer service experience is preferred, as well as medical assistant certification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
