About the Opportunity- This is a part-time or full-time position, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric conditions, as well as issuing prescriptions and maintenance for clients on psychotropic medication.
- As a key member of the team, the Psychiatrist will assume leadership in case conferences and in-service staff training, and actively participate in peer review and Utilization Review (UR).
- The Psychiatrist will coordinate and assist with overseeing psychiatric services with the behavioral health director across all of Harbor's community health centers in Boston, Plymouth, and Hyannis, and provide direct services to patients.
- Support the Behavioral Health Director with input and review of behavioral health-related policies.
- Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners in consultation and peer review.
- The ideal candidate should be board-certified in Psychiatry with experience in addiction medicine, integrated health care teams, and an interest in Community Health populations.
