Electrophysiology Technologist

The Electrophysiology Technologist is a vital member of the cardiovascular team, responsible for preparing patients for and assisting physicians in Electrophysiology Lab procedures.
Key responsibilities include maintaining sterile technique, performing/reviewing baseline patient assessments, and evaluating patient responses to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in basic cardiac life support, operation and maintenance of diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment, and administration of drugs commonly used in the EP lab.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology or equivalent educ/experience
- Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of formal training from an AMA-approved Cardiovascular Technology Program
- 2 years of prior experience in a cardiovascular laboratory
