Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of polysomnographic procedures on patients with suspected sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform polysomnographic procedures on patients with suspected sleep disorders
  • Prepare patients for testing and collect relevant information for test results
  • Share responsibility for patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
  • Assist in the Sleep Clinic and coordinate scheduling of patients, physicians, and facilities
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved two-year Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Registry as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist
  • Current Ohio licensure or certification to practice respiratory care (Respiratory Therapist only)
  • Registered by the Association of Polysomnography Technologists or eligible for registration within 12 months
  • Current CPR certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Proficient in computer operations/technology
  • One year of experience in Polysomnography
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. The position requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
