This position is ideal for a Certified Nursing Assistant who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and thrives in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Safe Transportation: Ensure reliable and secure transportation for residents to appointments and activities using facility vehicles.

· Resident Assistance: Help residents enter and exit vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.

· Basic Care: Carry out CNA responsibilities as required, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with personal hygiene.

· Resident Interaction: Foster positive relationships with residents through friendly and compassionate engagement.

· Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and safety of facility vehicles, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

· Documentation: Keep accurate records of transportation activities and care provided, adhering to facility guidelines.

· Compliance: Follow all facility policies and local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and resident care.

Qualifications:

· Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Must possess a valid CNA certification in the state.

· Valid Driver's License: Must hold a clean driving record and a valid driver's license. Experience with larger vehicles is advantageous.

· CPR/First Aid Certification: Must be current or willing to obtain certification.

· Experience: Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare environment is preferred.

· Compassionate Caregiver: Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude, with the ability to effectively support elderly or disabled residents.

· Safety Awareness: Commitment to resident safety and adherence to care and transportation standards.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to assist residents in and out of vehicles.

· Capable of driving for extended periods and performing CNA duties.

· Ability to engage in physical tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for long durations.
