Job Summary

Rivers Safety is seeking a skilled Flagger to ensure safe movement of traffic around construction sites in the Fayetteville, NC area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the construction team to establish and maintain safe traffic flow in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Direct traffic flow using Department of Transportation guidelines.
  • Flag motorists to warn them of obstacles or repair work ahead.
  • Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones, including warning signs, traffic cones, and other warning devices.
  • Work around hazardous equipment and moving vehicular traffic.
  • Drive company vehicles to and from job sites in a safe manner.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment.
  • Ensure daily testing and inspection of assigned tools and equipment.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in various temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain in a standing position for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 55 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds continuously.
  • Physical capability to perform all flagging duties.
  • Sufficient eyesight to judge distances and coordination to use appropriate equipment and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work long hours and overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends, etc.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour.
