Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with expertise in tax preparation, financial statement audits, and compliance. They will be responsible for preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses, conducting audits, and ensuring all financial records are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Tax Returns: Prepare accurate and complete tax returns for individuals and businesses, including gift and estate tax returns, multi-state tax returns, and international tax compliances.
  • Financial Statement Audits: Conduct thorough audits of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations, including sales and payroll tax compliance.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in U.S. public accounting, with a focus on audits, taxes, and accounting.
  • A master's degree in taxation is preferred but not required.
