TaaS Infrastructure Opportunities

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our TaaS Infrastructure team, where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of our ride-hailing platform. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing the platform and infrastructure that supports various ride-hailing businesses. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the scalability and reliability of our systems, which manage trip requests, provide APIs to client apps and partner services, calculate pickup and ride times, match vehicles to riders, and calculate ride prices.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in general distributed systems and backend development
  • Proficiency in C++ and/or ability to write robust, efficient code
  • Experience in developing low-latency, large-scale, user-facing distributed systems

Compensation:

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is $192,000-$243,000 USD per year, depending on job-related factors. In addition to a competitive salary, Waymo employees are eligible to participate in Waymo's discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
