Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polisher to join our team at Barlume. As a Polisher, you will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and stocking all supplies and materials for service, ensuring that our glassware, utensils, and bar equipment meet the highest standards of presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Polish all assigned work according to LDV Hospitality standards, meeting established production goals and turn times.
  • Assist in the wash line area to ensure timely completion of all work in the department.
  • Adapt easily to new responsibilities, including the capacity to work independently or in a group environment, allowing for flexibility to all areas of Distribution.
  • Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for your position as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite.

Requirements:

  • Deliver timely and courteous service to guests in adherence to our company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Maintain a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude at all times.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Ability to have an outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations.
  • Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards.
  • Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times.
  • Attendance to company meetings and training seminars as required.
  • Responsible for training and developing new employees to LDV Hospitality's standards of service.
  • Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies.
  • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by management.

Physical/Special Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day.
  • Mobility and manual dexterity appropriate to staff in the Polisher position.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to withstand a high volume of business and the movement, noise, and temperature extremes associated with that volume.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintain professionalism when working under stress.
