POSITION PURPOSE:
The Water Treatment Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal, and testing equipment within a refinery or industrial facility to ensure water purification meets customer specifications.
PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prior experience in a similar role and environment is preferred.
The operator must consistently demonstrate the ability to learn and independently manage assigned machinery and equipment, achieving or surpassing processing and quality targets.
Key responsibilities include the operation of various equipment such as pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves, gates, mixers, conveyors, blowers, dryers, chemical feed systems, odor control systems, disinfection equipment, sludge processing filters, belt presses, and measurement/control devices, as well as testing and material handling equipment.
