Job Overview

Job Summary

The LPN will be responsible for delivering exceptional resident care, medication management, and staff supervision. We offer a competitive salary of $58,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Resident Care:
  • Provide direct resident services and medication management as needed.
  • Assist in implementing and updating resident service plans.
  • Oversee the provision of assistance with ADLs to residents whose service plan indicates the need.
  • Communicate pertinent resident information to co-workers when leaving the community and/or at shift changes.
  • Staff Supervision:
  • Assist with orientation and education of resident care staff.
  • Maintain current knowledge of state regulations and community policies/procedures.
  • Make daily rounds to monitor care provided by resident care staff.
  • Medication Management:
  • Keep MARs complete and accurate.
  • Oversee medication management for residents whose service plan demonstrates the need.
  • Demonstrate competency in all areas of medication administration.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state.
  • Competency in staff supervision, resident care skills, and medication management principles and practice.
