Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Soliant. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to clients across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and screenings under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Implement therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising SLP.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients individually or in groups.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and session notes.
  • Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and progress.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and techniques in speech-language therapy.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Valid state license or certification as an SLPA.
  • Previous experience working in a clinical or educational setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills.
