Speech-Language Pathologist Position Available

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for an onsite position in a school district near Ambler, PA. This is a full-time opportunity starting as soon as possible and extending until the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' communication needs within the classroom and educational environment.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language goals and progress.
  • Stay informed about best practices, trends, and developments in the field of speech-language pathology, integrating new techniques and strategies into practice as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting, is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with students, parents, and staff.
  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy services.
