We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for an onsite position in a school district near Ambler, PA. This is a full-time opportunity starting as soon as possible and extending until the end of the school year.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' communication needs within the classroom and educational environment.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language goals and progress.
- Stay informed about best practices, trends, and developments in the field of speech-language pathology, integrating new techniques and strategies into practice as appropriate.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting, is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with students, parents, and staff.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy services.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices and advancements in the field.
