**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develops submarine shipboard alterations
* Conducts static analyses of mechanical structures
* Conducts hydrodynamic analyses under a variety of at-sea operational conditions
* Develops models to predict performance
* Assists the Design Team with material selection based on in-process stress calculations as well as commercial and/or military specifications
* Conducts quality assurance reviews of design and engineering products
* Interfaces with customers and government sponsors

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering
* Eligible to obtain a secret clearance
* At least 2+ years of professional experience in AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor or Solidworks, MATHCAD Engineering Mathematics Software (or similar software)
