Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Team in Santa Clara. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult members with a range of mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for adult members, incorporating evidence-based practices and psychotherapy techniques.
- Collaborate with treating physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
- Provide psychological assessments, including test administration, interpretation, and recommendations, to inform treatment decisions.
- Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions, adapting to the unique needs and circumstances of each member.
- Develop and lead psychoeducational classes and groups, promoting mental health awareness and skill-building.
- Participate in staff conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss member care and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to state and NCQA regulations, and Kaiser Permanente's standards.
- PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- California Psychologist License within 6 months of hire.
- Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices, psychotherapy research methods, and the bio-psycho-social functions contributing to mental health.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Previous clinical experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
- Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation.
