About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a highly skilled Claims Examiner to join our team in the Midwest Region. As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for analyzing and processing complex commercial general liability / bodily injury claims on behalf of our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to achieve timely and appropriate resolutions.
  • Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
  • Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
  • Report claims to excess carriers and respond to requests for directions in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
  • Active adjusters license preferred.
