Position Summary

The Property Leasing Specialist plays a crucial role in managing all aspects of apartment leasing, including move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. This position involves direct engagement with potential and current residents to maximize occupancy rates and foster resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attracts and engages prospective residents, qualifies leads, executes lease agreements, and manages move-in documentation.
  • Ensures model units are in optimal condition for tours and provides orientation to both prospective and current residents.
  • Handles lease renewal processes and ensures timely communication of documentation to existing residents.
  • Keeps meticulous records of all leasing activities and updates relevant information in the management system.
  • Follows up with all leads through various communication channels to convert inquiries into scheduled property tours.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to enhance the living experience for all residents.
  • Conducts inspections of apartments prior to resident move-ins, coordinating with maintenance to ensure readiness.
  • Maintains confidential resident files and reviews move-in paperwork with new tenants.
  • Prepares weekly leasing reports in a timely manner.
  • Completes daily operational procedures efficiently.
  • Supports ongoing resident relations by addressing requests and concerns promptly.
  • Conducts competitive property assessments.
  • Monitors property grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, reporting maintenance needs as necessary.
  • Assists with processing resident work order requests to ensure timely completion.
  • Provides administrative support to management, including answering calls and processing invoices.
  • May assist in organizing resident engagement activities to enhance retention.
  • Participates in training sessions related to fair housing, safety, and workplace conduct.
