Job Summary:
The Facility EHS Specialist is a critical role responsible for ensuring compliance with all OSHA and EPA programs. As the in-house expert, you will be responsible for managing the facility's EHS programs, including workers' compensation investigations, property damage incidents, and compiling statistics to identify trends and recommend solutions to reduce injuries and hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the facility's EHS programs, including OSHA and EPA compliance
- Conduct workers' compensation investigations and property damage incident reviews
- Compile statistics to identify trends and recommend solutions to reduce injuries and hazards
- Develop and conduct EHS training for employees
- Assist in the development of EHS policies and procedures
- Coordinate and respond to local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field or equivalent experience, education, and training
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification, instructor certification preferred
- OSHA 10-HR and OSHA 30-HR certification
- 3-5 years of experience in safety, manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of safety codes, OSHA regulations, hazardous materials, and emergency preparedness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
