POSITION SUMMARY
The BESS Electrical Engineer plays a crucial role in the design, integration, and execution of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across multiple projects. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering principles, BESS technologies, and project management skills to ensure the successful integration and performance of energy storage systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and create electrical systems for BESS initiatives, including detailed schematics, layouts, and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate BESS into both existing and new energy frameworks.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies and technical evaluations for BESS integration.
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing phases of BESS systems.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges associated with BESS installations.
- Offer technical support and expertise to project teams and clients.
- Draft and review technical documentation, including reports, manuals, and schematics.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in BESS technology and industry advancements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in the design and execution of BESS projects.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and BESS technologies.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
