Position Overview
The Parts Coordinator I plays a crucial role in managing the processes of parts procurement, receipt, cataloging, inventory management, and reconciliation at a designated site. This role also involves handling Purchase Orders (POs) and Vendor payment requests. It is essential to ensure that the correct parts are sourced from the appropriate vendors while maintaining optimal inventory levels to enhance customer uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the physical inventory process, parts ordering, and receiving operations.
- Manage the processing of Purchase Orders and Supplier invoices.
- Ensure that received parts are accurately documented in the inventory system.
- Oversee parts obsolescence management.
- Coordinate the shipping of warranty claims and parts returns to suppliers.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the parts storage area.

Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
- High level of accuracy in data entry and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; intermediate skills preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred: One (1) year or more of experience in inventory and parts administration or clerical roles.
