We are seeking a skilled and experienced part-time Dentist to join our team at Lorton Town Dental. The ideal candidate should have an excellent chairside manner and be kind and committed to providing care that makes patients feel like family.
Responsibilities- Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, infection, occlusal disease, etc.
- Diagnose and treat dental problems such as root canals, extractions, and various restorations.
- Consult with other dental specialists when necessary.
- Supervise hygiene flow and support team.
- Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and proper maintenance.
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
- DDS or DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required.
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry.
- Current state license.
- Previous experience in clinical or private practice preferred.
- CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications.
- Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends.
- Excellent chairside manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
We are looking for someone who can commit to three days a week and one Saturday a month. If you have a passion for dental care and are looking to work alongside other equally caring and committed professionals, we want to hear from you.
