IOTA Community Schools is a network of four public charter schools in the Memphis area. We serve students from 6th through 12th grades and operate both 'fresh start' and 'zoned-enrollment' turnaround schools.

As a History Teacher at IOTA Community Schools, you will be responsible for designing and implementing rigorous unit plans and lessons. You will participate in bi-weekly coaching meetings and professional development to improve your practice. You will also work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a valid Tennessee teaching license with the appropriate content endorsement. They will believe in our mission and have the ability to meet deadlines related to lesson plan submission and grades. They will also have humility, a sense of humor, and a rock-solid commitment to our mission and the communities we serve.

The salary for this position ranges from $51,500 to $75,250 per year, based on years of certified experience. We also offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth and development. Our teacher salary is competitive and reflective of our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
