About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team at Takeda Pharmaceutical. As a key member of our Reliability Engineering group, you will play a critical role in improving the reliability of our equipment, utilities, and critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Reliability Strategies: Develop and implement reliability strategies, plans, and procedures to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA): Lead RCFA and FMEA methodologies to identify and address equipment failures, and implement corrective actions to prevent future failures.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement reliability improvements.
  • Develop and Maintain Maintenance Plans: Develop and maintain maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated.
  • Improve Equipment Parts Lists and BOMs: Improve equipment parts lists and BOMs accuracy in collaboration with MRO.
  • Lead Reliability Centered Maintenance Improvement (RCM) Projects: Lead RCM or other improvement projects in multiple areas to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Participate in Audits and Inspections: Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and Maintain Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, procedures, and reports, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Education: B.S. in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Knowledge of CMMS, engineering, and maintenance business practices, as well as reliability engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Certifications: cGMP experience and knowledge of laboratory and pharmaceutical process support equipment.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $84,000 to $132,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
